Claudio Delfino collaborated with winemaker Leon Glaser from JosephJane Winery on a custom crush project. They produced a smoky Pinot Noir using grapes from a single vineyard, grown in the AVA Umpqua Valley.
88 points at the US Rating competition in San Francisco. Sommelier's notes: "Pale ruby color with a medium body, this Pinot Noir has smoked cheese and cured meat nuances. The palate is juicy and savory with hints of ripe cherry shining through. The texture is generous with silky tannins and balanced acidity.
