An exclusive Direct Import of Delfino Fine Wines from the Loire Valley in France to Oregon. Gold Medal with 91 pts at the Sommelier Choice Awards in San Francisco: "Bright fresh aromatics of green flowers, orange blossom, persimmon, apple blossom, and star anise. The palate is rich with ripe lemon, cantaloupe and green apple flavors."
Anjou is a wine region around the French city of Angers, in the western Loire Valley. In 2006, Patrick Olivier planted his first plot of Chenin blanc grapes in the Anjou AOC region, in the middle of the Loire valley. Anjou Blanc Sec (Dry White) was the first white wine produced by Domaine Olivier.
Dry, aromatic, mineral wine with high acidity. This elegant wine offers a nice flavor of quince and apples with white peach and raisin aromas. Great balanced texture between the intensity and the richness of the Chenin Blanc grapes.
